Babak Abdullayev is a professional painter, visual artist, and art educator with extensive experience in university-level instruction. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Azerbaijan State Art Academy and a Master of Fine Arts in Painting from the Rome University of Fine Arts (RUFA) in Italy. Having served as a Fine Arts Lecturer teaching Drawing, Painting, and World Art History at the university level, as well as an Assistant Professor of Art Anatomy in Rome, Babak combines rigorous classical and contemporary techniques with modern pedagogical approaches. He is a 5-time recipient of the prestigious Presidential Scholarship for Artistic Excellence in Azerbaijan and a member of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan.
Babak’s artworks have been exhibited internationally, with his paintings held in private and public collections worldwide. Among his international achievements, he won 1st place in the global "Tifo Flag" 25x 21 m competition in Rome for the 44th Ryder Cup. Currently pursuing his artistic research while serving as an ESC volunteer and Art Workshop Facilitator and Art Leader at the Values, Virtues, Integrity Foundation, Babak is dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue and bringing high-quality, accessible art education to diverse international communities
